Welcome to the Church of the Holy Apostles, formerly known as the Waugh Chapel Mission Community. We are a Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Baltimore located in Gambrills, Maryland.

Our Vision

The Church of the Holy Apostles seeks to nurture and strengthen our spiritual body as a Eucharistic community united in the love of Christ. With lively participation and intimate experience of the Church, we bring the Gospel to the ever-changing needs of our society.

Worship and Sacraments

Sunday Mass (with Children's Liturgy of the Word) is held at 9:00AM and 10:45AM at the School of the Incarnation Multi-Purpose Room (Marian Hall) in Gambrills. Weekday Mass is held at 8:30AM on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 7:30AM on Tuesdays in the Chapel at the School of the Incarnation in Gambrills. First Sunday: Outreach Sunday and Hospitality after each Mass. First Wednesday: Prayer and fasting for vocations and the spiritual and material needs of the community. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following morning Mass with Benediction at 6:30PM. Holy Days as announced. Penance: Sundays from 8:15AM until 8:45AM, or by appointment. Baptisms: Families expecting a child are asked to contact Annette Mulry in advance of the birth to make preparations for your child's baptism. Annette can be reached at the Parish office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Marriage: Couples seeking to celebrate the sacrament of marriage must contact Annette Mulry at the Parish office at least 6 months prior to their wedding date and participate in Marriage Preparation.
